Project Brief
Sue McClane, owner of McClane Benefits Group, reached out to me to help establish a brand identify for her new business. Specifically, logo and business card design. The final version of the logo and business card design are shown here.
Challenges
Working with family can be particularly tricky. The only direction given was, "I really like the color teal." Fortunately, I like that color too. However, sometimes the only way a client knows what they want is by seeing what they don't want—that was the case here.
Conclusion
It’s refreshing to have minimal constraints on a design project. The freedom to explore various color palettes and font choices gave me the flexibility to take the design in multiple directions. The final outcome, though simple, was clean and corporate—perfectly reflecting Sue’s business identity.
