Confined Spaces Awareness
Art Direction   |   UX Design
Role:   Art Director, UX Designer
Client:   National Elevator Industry Educational Program (NEIEP)

Project Brief
The Confined Spaces Awareness training, offered by the National Elevator Industry Educational Program (NEIEP), is designed to educate workers on the essential safety procedures and best practices for working in confined spaces. This course covers topics such as hazard identification, proper ventilation, emergency response, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Through engaging content and practical scenarios, the training ensures that workers are equipped with the knowledge to identify potential risks and take the necessary precautions to work safely in confined spaces. Aimed at those in the elevator industry, the program emphasizes both safety and compliance with OSHA regulations, fostering a culture of awareness and safety in the workplace.
Challenges
We worked with an amateur voiceover artist for this project who wasn't quite comfortable in front of the microphone. He spent the entire day in the sound booth, working through each script, and although it was a bit challenging for him, he kept a positive attitude throughout. By the end of the session, he was able to laugh at some of the outtakes, showing great resilience despite being out of his element.
Conclusion
Despite the challenges faced during the recording process, the Confined Spaces Awareness training was completed with a positive outcome. The voiceover artist, although new to the role, approached the project with a great attitude and perseverance, contributing to the final product. His efforts, along with the careful planning and execution of the training content, resulted in a comprehensive and engaging learning experience for workers in the elevator industry
